Reviews: what a Camondo visitor can book while the house is closed
There is no ticket to the Musée Nissim de Camondo to review. The house at 63 rue de Monceau has been closed for restoration since 4 August 2024 and is not expected back before the end of 2029 (some listings say 2030). What I have reviewed instead are the five GetYourGuide listings I would point a Camondo-minded visitor towards in the meantime: a private walk that ends at Parc Monceau, the entry ticket to the same institution’s open museum on rue de Rivoli, the Paris Museum Pass, and two Jewish-heritage walks in the Marais. The short version: the Haussmann walk is the closest thing to a Camondo visit you can buy right now.

I do not award my own stars. The score on each card is GetYourGuide’s, from the people who booked, and so is the review count. What I add is the part a score cannot carry: whether the listing does anything for someone whose real interest is the Camondo, what the description leaves out, and what the reviewers were actually complaining about when they marked something down. The Decorative Arts ticket sits at 3.7, for instance, and almost none of that is about the museum being bad. The Haussmann walk sits at 4.9 on twelve reviews, which is a small number, and I say so.
I led groups through the Camondo house for three seasons before it closed, so I know what the reader is missing. None of these five is a substitute for standing in the Salon des Huet. Is there a review of a Musée Nissim de Camondo ticket?
No, because there is no ticket. The house has been closed since 4 August 2024 and the reopening is targeted for the end of 2029. Before the closure, entry was free for under-26s and disabled visitors, which is covered on who gets in free; the same rules apply at the open sister museum on rue de Rivoli.
Which of the five is closest to visiting the Camondo?
The Haussmann private walk. It ends at Parc Monceau, which the Camondo garden opens onto, and the route covers the quarter the family built in. For the collection itself, the Decorative Arts ticket gets you into the same institution’s other museum.
