How to get to the Musée Nissim de Camondo
The address confuses people because rue de Monceau does not run beside the park for its whole length, and because the house presents a courtyard gate to the street and its garden front to the park. You want the stretch of rue de Monceau nearest the park, on its south side. The number is 63. The garden façade, the one that looks like the Petit Trianon, is visible from inside the park and is the view worth having while the house is closed.
By Métro
Monceau, on line 2, brings you out at the boulevard de Courcelles gate of the park, beside Ledoux’s rotunda; cross the park diagonally to the south-east corner and rue de Monceau is there. Villiers, on lines 2 and 3, is the one I use; walk down rue de Monceau from the boulevard de Courcelles end and you pass the Hôtel Ephrussi at no. 81 before reaching no. 63. Line 3 connects Villiers to Opéra and Saint-Lazare, which makes it the practical choice from most hotels.
By bus
Buses 20, 30, 84 and 93 serve the quarter. The 84 and 93 run along the boulevards to the south; the 30 and 20 come from the Gare Saint-Lazare direction. Any of them leaves you within a few minutes of the park.
On foot from Opéra
About half an hour: along boulevard Haussmann past the department stores, on to Saint-Augustin, then up boulevard Malesherbes or through the streets to the Jacquemart-André and Parc Monceau. If you are coming for the quarter rather than the closed house, get off at Monceau, not Villiers. You enter the park by its grandest gate and see the Naumachie before anything else.

Can I walk to the Camondo from the Louvre or Opéra?

Is the museum open when I get there?
